Students who work with GIPEP will go through a comprehensive, informative process prior to their departure. After applying, students, who the organization feel best qualified for internships, will be contacted by an advisor to whom they will be speaking weekly regarding professional goals, relevant past experience, what to expect, advice, inquiries and concerns throughout the program. Our certified advisors are trained to work with interns closely, catering to their professional desires. To ensure that students are exposed to the most beneficial experiences tailored specifically for them, GIPEP provides a strengths assessment to identify personal and professional strong points, a resume and cover letter workshop, introduction and exit orientation, and a career finder questionnaire.
